West London Lung Cancer Screening

The NHS Lung Cancer Screening programme (the new name for targeted lung health checks) is for people aged between 55 and 74 who are current or former smokers to help support early detection and treatment of lung cancer. Lung cancer screening is a good way of spotting lung-related problems early on, when any treatment needed can be simpler and more successful. 

Often, early problems with the lungs do not cause any symptoms, so it is important to attend when invited even if you feel fit and healthy.

Lung cancer screening is currently being offered across north west and south west London in Brent, Croydon, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kensington and Chelsea, Kingston, Merton, Sutton, Wandsworth and Westminster. It will be available in Richmond in the near future.
